“My name is Nana Kwame. Although Kofaya is primarily a women’s project, I chose to join because I wanted to learn more and share my knowledge with others. I deeply value this project as it has taught me how to redesign second-hand clothes, engage in internet marketing, and work effectively in a team. One of the main benefits is that I have been able to teach my wife, Asante Magdalene (Asantewaa), who is now also part of the Kofaya project, and her sister Gloria, who plans to rejoin us after completing her studies.
I’m passionate about teaching others and eager to do more. The Kofaya project has been a great help to me, as I receive payment for my services, which enables me to take good care of my daughter. I hope the Kofaya project continues to grow and receive more support (such as machines, a bigger workspace, and funding) so that more people can join and learn. I believe that projects like this can improve life here, making it unnecessary to seek opportunities abroad and burden others.”
